Meet the Ope!
The Ope is a visual manifestation of the user's health & contentment. Developed for a week-long design challenge to promote physical and psychological well-being in modern workers, the Ope is a desktop toy with an integrated app.
The app features simple challenges designed to help the user develop healthy eating, sleeping, and exercise habits. First, the user chooses an Ope egg. To hatch the egg, the user must enter some basic biometrics, then it's off to the first challenge. As the user regularly completes challenges, the Ope's environment grows and flourishes.
The toy serves as both desk decor and a physical reminder. Logging and maintaining healthy habits within the app keeps the Ope toy happy, while negligence makes the Ope mope... and nobody wants a mopey Ope!
